About the Book
It goes without saying that a mother’s love is everything. Where would all of us be without our moms?
If Not for the Love of Mother: A Tribute is Sheila Kaye’s ode to her mother for helping her and other people in her life become who they are today.
Although she isn’t physically present anymore, her memories will live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones.
When you are instrumental in bringing a life into the world, the “me” factor should change. It is not solely about “you” any longer. This new being should take precedence over your wants, your needs, and your desires.
I often reflect on her. As a child, I felt like she was always teaching me with her words of wisdom. I didn’t fully understand it then; however, I now appreciate all the life lessons learned.
Peer pressure has always existed. There have always been leaders and followers. Growing up, you must know when to exercise good judgment. As children/young adults, we sometimes stumble. We must learn from our mistakes and failures.
